Or, the real question is, who hasn't?
I just saw the new Watchmen movie based on the original grahic novel by Alan Moore, and I...really don't know how to feel about it. There was a lot of original storyline cut out of it, some of it I felt was important to the it's emotional impact, but...I'm sure others feel differently. The ending changed dramatically...and thus, so did the emotional impact. I won't go into spoilers...but...for those of us who've read and thoroughly analyzed the Watchmen, the ending may be a bit of an annoyance. A lot of the characters' reactions change in ways that don't add up...but, overall, I can tell a lot of effort was put into it. I'm just a bit concerned that some of the non-comic book fans won't be able to understand it...
So...yeah. That's my opinion...I'd recommend it to anyone who has read the comic...for everyone else, that's your own call.

*raises hand* I haven't watched the watchmen...It never really interested me in Graphic novel or movie form...I might watch it for the graphics but....
*grin* I prefer other kinds of shows.

Heh. ^_^ I've recently been getting deep into comic books that aren't from Japan (*gasp*), so...yeah. Kind of an odd transition...I still find myself trying to read the from right-to-left. As a comic book, it's actually very impactful and stunning. It changed the way I thought about a lot of things...of course, having a blue guy walk around everywhere was a bit disturbing at first, but you kind of get used to it after a while. If you only wanna go for the visual effects, then I'd definitely recommend it. ^_^ On a visual basis, it was absolutely gorgeous...the effects were stunning...
